Did you know that the USA has more than 60,000 registered historic places? Nearly every town has at least a courthouse, a church or a house that is protected by the NRHP. In Washington DC, you can find historic landmarks to visit in nearly every streets. New York City has more than 500 registered landmarks.
Monuments.guide has been created to guide you while you visit U.S cities or countryside. Using geolocation, the travel guide will show you nearby historic places and famous landmarks to visit. Use the map to find monuments near you or around the word. Read the monument's description if you want to know more. You can star your favorite landmarks to create your own personal travel guide. Have any questions or remarks ? You can comment on the monuments description.
Monuments.guide lists more than 60000 U.S. historic places from NRHP database and more than 35000 French monuments from the "Monuments Historiques" registry. Historic places from more countries will be added soon. Most landmarks have photos you can share with your social network.
